Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern bookings and services offered by Wild Ranthambore, including safari permits, accommodations, and tour packages.

  • Safari portions are generally non-refundable. Gypsy/Canter amounts are not refunded once confirmed or when permits are issued.
  • Monsoon exception: If the park closes due to rain, we refund 75% (Gypsy) and 65% (Canter). No refund after permit issue.
  • Chambal Boat Safari: amount is non-refundable.
  • Tour package cancellations follow a sliding scale (see below). Holding/booking amounts are non-refundable.
1) General Terms for Tour Packages
  • The displayed packages cannot be booked for long weekends, festivals, holidays, Christmas or New Year unless explicitly confirmed.
  • Only base category rooms will be provided by default. Upgrades are subject to availability and will be charged extra, payable at the hotel.
  • Standard hotel check-in is 12:00 Noon and check-out is 11:00 AM (may vary by hotel). Early check-in/check-out is subject to availability.
  • You must provide the correct ages of all travellers at the time of booking. Incorrect ages may attract penalties from suppliers.
  • If the preferred room category is unavailable, we will arrange a similar standard accommodation.
  • One extra mattress may be provided if you’re booking a room for 3 people.
  • Any changes in government taxes, hotel or safari charges, or fuel surcharges will be informed by email/phone prior to your travel date and will be chargeable.
  • Wild Ranthambore is not responsible for any loss/theft or damage to luggage or personal belongings during the tour.
  • We reserve the right to make necessary changes to the itinerary or safari if required by operational or safety reasons.
2) Special Monsoon Cancellation Policy

If the park is closed due to rain:

  • Gypsy bookings: 75% refund.
  • Canter bookings: 65% refund.

Note: If your permit has already been issued, refunds are not available.

3) Current / Tatkal Bookings
  • Booking confirmation may be sent one day prior to the safari date for morning slots, or the same day for evening slots.
  • If the safari does not get confirmed, 100% of the amount will be refunded.
  • If the safari gets confirmed, no refund will be issued.
  • If a customer cancels a current/tatkal request before the due time, the following charges apply:
    • 25% cancellation fee for Gypsy safaris.
    • 35% cancellation fee for Canter safaris.
4) Safari-Specific Terms
  • Gypsy & Canter safari payments are non-refundable. If a tour package is cancelled, the safari component is not refunded.
  • Chambal Boat Safari: amount is non-refundable.
  • If your safari is not booked due to technical error or non-availability of seats, the amount received for that service will be returned to your original payment method and we will inform you accordingly.
  • Separate cancellation rules may apply during peak seasons and weekdays such as Holi, Diwali, X-Mas & New Year; the applicable policy will be communicated for your booking dates.

  • Safari amounts (Gypsy/Canter) are not refunded.
  • One extra mattress is provided only when a room is booked for 3 people.
  • Changes in government taxes, hotel/safari charges, etc., will be intimated by email/phone before your travel date.
6) Important Notes About Cancellation
  • Booking holding amount is non-refundable.
  • If a Canter is replaced with a Gypsy or vice-versa, the difference will be refunded to you.
  • If a permit is not generated, we refund 70% of the total tour cost (GST and payment-gateway charges are non-refundable).
  • The tour date itself is not counted while calculating cancellation windows.
7) Payment Policy
  • We accept Credit/Debit Cards, PayPal and Direct Bank Deposit.
  • You may pay 50% advance to hold the booking on a confirmed basis, with the remaining 50% payable on arrival/start of the tour.
  • You can pay 100% in advance to confirm immediately and may be eligible for additional benefits/discounts.
  • All applicable taxes, surcharges, entry fees and statutory charges are payable by the traveller.
8) Liabilities, Force Majeure & Jurisdiction

Liabilities & Price Revisions: After a package is finalized, any subsequent hikes by authorities (e.g., permit fees, museum/guide fees, taxes, fuel surcharge) will be chargeable as per actuals.

Force Majeure: Events such as weather, strikes, fairs, technical problems, overbooking by hotels, closures or restrictions at time of visit, etc., may cause changes or cancellations. We will do our best to arrange suitable alternatives; however, we are not liable for refunds/compensation for delays or circumstances beyond our control.

Jurisdiction: Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at New Delhi, India.

9) Declaration

We are a private travel agency and are not authorized by, nor affiliated with, the Forest Department. Our services include booking safaris, arranging hotel accommodations, coordinating transport (pickups/drops), and facilitating flight reservations on behalf of customers. We operate independently and charge a reasonable service fee. Prices are subject to variation based on demand, particularly during peak booking periods.

Please Note: All reservations for facilities within the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve (including entry and stay) are provisional and may be modified/cancelled by the Field Director without assigning reasons. As per park rules, there is no cancellation/rescheduling/refund for any confirmed safari permit.
