  • Visitors can select either Zone 1 to 7 or 8 to 10.

  • There are 10 Safari zones in Ranthambore National Park.

  • If you select Safari for 1 to 7 Zone that means your safari will be conducted in any one Zone from all these, same as for Zone 8 to 10.

  • In the case of the current Ranthambore safari booking, any of the zones between 1 and 10 can be allocated.

How to Book Safari — Important Information & Rules

How to Book Safari

To book Ranthambore safaris online you must provide details for every visitor (name, age, gender and government ID number), choose the Safari Date, Safari Shift and Vehicle (Gypsy or Canter), and pay the full amount shown at checkout. Bookings, once confirmed, are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  1. Provide visitor details: name, age, gender and ID proof number for each traveller.
  2. Choose schedule & vehicle: select date, morning/afternoon shift and vehicle type (Gypsy or Canter).
  3. Attach ID documents: Indians: Voter/Aadhaar/PAN/Driving license; Foreigners: passport.
  4. Pay & confirm: pay the full amount to complete booking — permit issued after payment.

Note: Zones 1–5 closed every Wednesday; zones 6–10 closed every Tuesday. Zone allocation is subject to availability.
